Wonderland Cribs Featuring Gregory Diles
In the 1992 L.A. phone book, Greg Diles is listed at a residence near South Central. The area is called Mid City. The neighborhood also looks like it has a large Korean population.
This is the address, although I was not sure of which of the two houses it was… I could not read the numbers but the houses to the left and right of these two were not #1712.
These are actually converted apartments and duplexes or quad-plexes, as these older houses have been remodeled. Note the communal parking set up. After Greg and Nash’s murder trial a few years before, I can imagine Greg was a bouncer again and trying to pick up the pieces of his life. He would be dead within five years, some say from liver failure.

Yeah, Diles died of liver failure overseas in some third world country.

If he was some type of Black Panther lover, then maybe he wanted to go back and die in the home continent of Africa? Not sure, but L.A. County Records has his death registered as occurring in Los Angeles County.

It was probably LA then. I can’t remember where I read that Nigeria thing. i’m sure Eddie was supporting Greg financially to an extent.

Yes, I read that too somewhere. Eddie was his own boss, and there was talk of him still hanging out and communicating with people on the judge’s list…so him indirectly helping Greg would not surprise me. Eddie rewarded loyalty!

I read that somewhere too, dubious at best … but it said Lagos, Nigeria.

Nigeria, yes.

From the opulent Studio City to the aptly titled “Mid” City… what a downgrade for Diles who was once used to having breakfast served on a silver tray..

Yes. Diles may have been relegated to living in a hut on a dirt floor in the middle of the jungle for all we know. I bet Greg Diles was unrecognizable at the time of his death.

And then again, he could have died in a condo in Tarzana with Eddie by his side.
