The Drive To Eddie Nash’s House, Part 2
Well, there is no doubt that Bonnie is not only our own Laurel Erickson newsgirl, but she has started a trend. You see, another blogger has now posted a video of himself driving to Eddie’s from the Wonderland house, albeit in what seems to be an RV, school bus or camera mounted Google car (from the point of view).
I am also still tracking down some key Wonderland players for interviews. Relatives and that girl who allegedly took the $50k from Eddie during his first trial. Stay tuned!
Also, check out his blog. He posts some cool stuff:

Cool! The scenery is so interesting, especially since I live in the Mid-west and we don’t see anything like this! Kind of reminds me of England to be honest. I wonder what the neighbors think of all this? What is the Wonderland area like presently, do you know? I have been to CA once ages ago and wanted to check this all out but the people I stayed with weren’t interested in showing me any of these types of sights (true crime fan here, so I wanted to see all the landmarks!)

Hey Beth – this is my Youtube channel. I live in Studio City less than 5 miles from Eddie’s house. I made a bunch of videos of the hollywood hills. One is a drive to the Canyon Country store. The video titled Love Street, shows where Pam and Jim were living when he wrote the Song – and the lyric “there’s a store where the people meet” he is talking about the canyon store which is right across the street. I made one video driving up Sunset Blvd on a sunday morning. And one driving around Studio City. The Studio City one I drive past the Brady Bunch house.

I absolutely love LA’s darker history.

Awesome Bonnie, thanks so much! I’ll certainly check out your Youtube channel, I know my hubby will like to see that too, he is also into history. How exciting to live so close and be able to check all this out!!!

Bonnie is the bestest of the best when it comes to filming these rides. You wanna know why? She always has pertinent music playing on her stereo when she drives these drives. She puts the kick-butt music of the day in there. The last guy’s vid wasn’t bad. It’s just that there was no music and he WAY too close to some of those power lines. His mic needed a windscreen as well. Bonnie has you in the car with her. Not riding on top of the car….hanging on for dear life.
As always, great vids, Bonnie! When you gonna do the one from Spahn Ranch to 10050 Cielo Drive? I’m dying here. LOL. (The Beatle’s White Album is the way to go with that,…musically speaking. Just sayin’. Lol)

Cool channel Bonnie. I must have missed that Lemp St. vid earlier.

Thanks for the link Bonnie. Love your video. The one featured above is too weird looking and I hate the angle and the obnoxious watermark.

Are you in touch with any of the honest jurors??? I would love to hear from them.

I am with the NSA and I Will Ax The Questions!!! (No, I don’t have their names)
localarts 6:09 pm on September 24, 2013 Permalink
LOL. 50k to bribe a juror back in 1990 would be the equilivant of 90,000 in today’s money.

I bet she burned thru that cash faster than a blunt goes up in Compton. I knew a guy who was a bus boy and was awarded damages from a slip fall at work. $150K in 1994. He burned thru it with his hangers-on yes men and within a year was mowing yards and bussing tables again in Corpus Christi.

John have you ever attempted to interview The Nash? It would be great to hear his unvarnished side of things, and to gain more insight into the relationship he had with John C. Holmes, as well as the way he and JCH rose to the top in their respective fields. An authorized biography of Eddie Nash is definitely something that’s needed.
John 9:35 am on September 25, 2013 Permalink |
Jill Nelson who wrote the Holmes book, attempted to contact him via his attorney. Nash slept on it over the weekend and declined an interview. Thus, I have never given it a shot. I have his email though 😉 I doubt he wants to talk to a crazy blogger in Texas like me.

I’d kinda like to do that drive in a ’75 Ford Granada, just like Ronnie, David and Billy did with Tracy serving as the wheel man. Or possibly a Chevy Nova that’s been painted with spray cans like John and Dawn did. That would make a great Hollywood Noir tour. After that, head on down to John’s old bungalow apartment house (well, where it used to be), and then have a nice lunch at the Bonaventure where he was interrogated by LA’s finest.
John 9:31 am on September 25, 2013 Permalink |
Absolutely! I used to have a white ’76 Granada in high school. Great a/c and it had a factory cassette player, and not an 8-track. It was fully loaded with leather and we took her to many concerts and on several camping trips. When I sold it a few years later, I don’t think the poor family even made it home 30 miles away, LOL. It had a lot of miles on it and needed work.

There are many tours that could be made in LA for Wonderland stuff for certain!!

Sorry for the personal attact the other night criticextraordinaire. Wayyy too much to drink. Please accept my apology. The drive in the 75 Granada has been discused before on this blog and yes, that would be the bomb.

Does anyone know what happened to Dawn Schiller’s father? I asked this in an earlier thread but I think it got buried, so sorry for the repeat, 🙂 I see that Dawn, her brother, sister and mother all have FB pages. Sorry to see that her sister has cancer. Wondered if her dad has passed, or what ultimately happened to him. And yes, I love the music Bonnie puts in her videos! Very cool!
John 9:37 am on September 25, 2013 Permalink |
You should friend her on FB. I heard she is pretty friendly. Ask her about her book and her dad.
Tori 9:02 pm on September 25, 2013 Permalink |
Yeah I added dawn Schiller on fb and she messaged me back also . She’s very nice.

Bonnie’s driving videos are flawless. Mostly because every couple minutes I’d catch a glimpse of the lovely Bonnie with her designer shades looking beautiful.
