It’s my birthday too π
According to the Wikipedia page, Wonderland is 10 years old today. Time flies. I just cannot believe that it made half of the $5M cost back in ticket sales. They cannot blame illegal downloads for this.

10 years…. and 44 years old for me. Damn I’m gettin’ up there.

Wish I could send you the David Lind interview from the Morton Downey Jr show as a present. But it’s the thought that counts.. Happy Birthday.

Thanks all! Yes, the main Downey fan on YouTube said he would kill for that episode, he missed it back when he recorded them to VHS.
Let us also celebrate Stevie Ray Vaughn’s birthday today. In Seka’s new book, she was asked to ride in his tragic helicopter back in the day. The day he died. She was interviewed on a local show promoting her new book. I wanted to include that, since there is a Wonderland / Holmes connection. Cuz she and Holmes acted together, as she modeled with John’s 13.5″ penis.

I remember that episode, I think it was the later 1980’s. They had a few guests on who were associated with infamous unsolved murders. When it came time to discuss Wonderland, after some initial chit-chat and a reference to Johnny Wadd, ol’ Mort said something in his inimitable style, like “Isn’t it odd that you weren’t there when the murders went down?” David then said “Unless you want to be pulling this chair out of your BLEEP you better take those BLEEP words back” and then he stood up menacingly. They immediately took the show to commercial break and when they came back, David was off the set and Morton appeared shaken, and moved on to the next guest.

Yes, it was in the late 80’s. I’ve never seen the episode but a buddy of mine did. Criticextraordinaire, you pretty much echoed everything he said. I bet studio security had to restrain Lind during the break. Mort meet his match that day.

Still not a bad looking woman to be in her mid to late fifty’s ?

I agree. I always assumed she was a Swedish woman, but she is a homegrown American girl from Virginia.

Apparently, when Seka officially launched her new book in N.Y. at the Museum of Sex on Monday night, she disclosed that she and Holmes were once romantically involved. http://www.therialtoreport.com/2013/10/01/inside-seka-the-book/
Happy Birthday, John! π

Seka was a very beautiful woman in her prime. She was on the Morton Downey Jr show too at one time way back when. Mort was cruel to her; he should have shown her a little more respect or at the very least been a little more curious.

I agree. I remember seeing the clip of Seka on Downey’s show a couple of years ago… I felt bad for the way he tried to make her appear and probably feel. I admire Seka for her tenacity and for being okay with who she is. She is truly one of the classiest of the ladies from the golden era.
